But what is a wiki anyway??
Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit web page content using any web browser. Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between pages on the fly. Wiki, in the Hawaiian-language, means fast. The most commonly recognized and utilized wiki is wikipedia.org, a "multilingual, web-based, free content encyclopedia project. Wikipedia is written collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world. The articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the "edit this page" link.
